We're always looking for easy ways to clean using items found right in your own home. WE found this great tip to make your darkened copper bottom sauce pans shine using just ketchup and water! :
Simply squeeze some ketchup onto a paper towel and rub in a small area in a circular motion-then rinse with warm water. It may take a couple of times to really make it shine but the acids in the Ketchup nicely clean and buff the copper. If this doesn't do the trick you can try rubbing 1/2 lemon on the bottom in a circular motion, then wash and dry the pan. What easy and inexpensive ways to brighten up your pots!
